Artport Piggybank opened in Geldrop on October 25, 2025. This new art center exhibits and sells modern art by international and national artists, as well as books by participating artists. Artport Piggybank Geldrop is an inspiring art venue and gallery located in the Spaarpot industrial estate (Aan de Winde 3). Piggybank is open Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and by appointment.

The National Open Studio Weekend will take place during the weekend of November 8th and 9th. My studio will be open to visitors from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can view my work: models, paintings, prints, and watercolours, which all are for sale.

The construction company Gebr. van Gisbergen asked me to select two watercolours, intending to place one at each of the two entrances to the new apartment blocks being built in the Roodloop area. Because the entrances face the village and the countryside, respectively, a watercolour of the village centre (Vrijthof) and one of the countryside (Groot Loo) were chosen. The works will be unveiled sometime in 2025.

May 1 – August 31

The Colorfield Performance is an art project where you can enjoy paintings in the open air by some 300 artists from 19 different countries. This year, the location is in Groesbeek at the Freedom Museum, in honour of 80 years of freedom. Within one day, artists in small groups will each paint a panel of 1.20 m x 1.20 m. The total of 336 panels has the shape of a large V, which stands for freedom. The artists start on May 1 and the entire art project is finished on August 10. Myself, I painted on May 15. From a raised platform, you have a beautiful view, and you can see the colours interfere under the influence of the light. The address is Wylerbaan 4, Groesbeek. The artworks are also for sale.

KunstRai Amsterdam | April 30 – May 4

KunstRAI has been a leading art fair in the Netherlands for 40 years and a household name in the contemporary art world. Since its inception in 1985, KunstRAI has provided a platform where galleries, artists and collectors come together to present, discover and share art. With a unique focus on both established names and emerging talent, KunstRAI has developed into a diverse and inspiring event accessible to art lovers of all levels. Two small sculptures of mine are on display at the art book publisher Van Spijk including my book Passion for Form and Colour (stand 2).

February 6 – 9 | Art on Paper | Amsterdam

This will be the fifth edition of Art on Paper Amsterdam. From 6 to 9 February the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam-Noord will be transformed into a gathering place for art and paper enthusiasts. Art book publisher Van Spijk will exhibit books (like my recently published book ‘Passion for Form and Color’) and two paper sculptures: ‘Passion for Form and Color‘ and ‘Cactushut‘ (see on the right).
