Starting Friday, August 28, my watercolours can be seen in Wellenseind Estate, on the grounds of ‘Voor Anker’. They were already on display at the estate three years ago; back then, at the locations where they were created. Now, they are set up together on the small square by the cowshed. The exhibition consists of 12 watercolours, etched onto weather-resistant boards.
During the pandemic summers of 2020 and 2021, I explored the surrounding area on foot and by bicycle. And so, Wellenseind Estate prominently came into view. Depicting the different seasons in the shimmering sunlight on the water, the play of light and shadow among the trees, the budding spring greenery, or the vibrant autumn colours formed the challenge.
The outdoor exhibition will remain open for viewing throughout the month of September 2026.
