The work\u00a0The Border Beyond\u00a0<\/b>is ambiguous: on floats that refer to refugee boats are red banners suggesting a finish and a warm welcome, but also a revolt, or they denote the rigid stop sign.\u00a0The title refers to a question: is there no more border and have you already crossed it, or has it been closed and is transit prohibited?\u00a0The sculpture intends to indicate dilemmas of the refugee discussion.\u00a0The colour and shapes are both inviting as well as threatening.\u00a0The abstract image on the shore is composed of a male and female form.\u00a0Does one dare to face the trip?<\/span><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
