As a sculptor I am interested in creating spatial forms for which I am inspired by the location. That is why some sculptures carry the name SCACo, which stands for Spatial Construction in an Architectonic Context.<\/em> With the title I want to express that the sculpture does not have a concrete image, but fits into a universe that is dominated by architecture and street furniture. At the same time a sculpture should have sufficient power to be itself in an environment and to give meaning to its surrounding. My sculptures may easily ask for attention, and colour forms part of it; they could serve as Landmark<\/em>. My sculptures are from steel plate, sometimes in combination with stainless steel, copper or glass. Images where ‘private collection’ is indicated, have been sold, or are not for sale. From 2024 I make sculptures from carton and paper.<\/p>\n
